EMBRACE THE OUTDOORS
Measure both feet in cm — length and width. We'll use the longer foot and add 1 cm of toe room: a crucial buffer that accommodates natural foot swelling during exercise and prevents your toes from painfully hitting the front of the boot, especially when walking downhill.
How to measure — length & width
Foot length
- Place a sheet of paper on the floor against a wall.
- Stand with your heel against the wall, foot flat on the paper.
- Mark the tip of your longest toe, then measure from the wall to the mark in cm.
- Repeat for the other foot — enter both below and we'll use the longer one.
Foot width
- Stand with your foot flat on a fresh sheet of paper.
- Mark the widest points on each side of the foot — usually across the ball, at the base of the toes.
- Measure the distance between the two marks in cm and enter it below.
Your width measurement is compared against the standard for your foot length, so the guidance you see is specific to your exact foot shape — not a generic category.
Your selections help us tailor size and width guidance to the specific AKU footwear you're buying.
